研究经历及成果:
1. 直接基于三维CAD模型的复杂结构高精度应力分析软件开发
(湖南大学汽车车身先进设计制造国家重点实验室. 2007-至今)
成果:

  • 提出完整实体应力分析(Complete Solid Stress Analysis,CSSA)概念。结构分析直接在完整的三维几何实体上进行,不使用任何抽象单元(杆、梁、板、壳等),从而避免几何误差对计算精度影响,同时为分析自动化提供了可能性。
  • 提出边界面法(Boundary Face Method, BFM)。BFM是BIE的一种建立在几何体上的数值实现,利用CAD实体造型系统中边界表征(Brep)数据结构,直接将CAD几何模型作为CAE分析模型,从而自然地将CAE与CAD融为一体。
  • 建立了自适应叉近似算法(Adaptive Cross Approximation, ACA)和分级矩阵(Hierarchical Matrix)高效代数运算库(可在微机上进行500,000自由度的矩阵加、乘、求逆以及LU分解运算)。提出没有迭代的几何投影交叉近似算法(Geometric Projection Cross Approximation, GPCA)。
  • 设计并实现基于BFM的CAE软件框架,包括用户界面系统、提示和报错系统、任意曲面网格全自动生成模块、边界面法和快速算法模块、文件和数据库系统、内存管理系统以及图形及后处理系统等七个大的模块和系统。软件的初级版本已可以解决热传导问题、结构静刚度、强度问题;对声波题、弹性稳定性、裂纹和断裂等复杂物理问题的分析初步实现,另外关于接触问题、弹性动力学问题的工作正在进行。
  • 基于BFM的大体积混凝土温控防裂分析软件开发接近尾声。

2. 边界类型无网格数值方法开发及其在线性和非线性问题中的应用
(日本科学振兴会. 2005-2007)
成果:

  • 系统地研究了快速多极算法(Fast Multipole Method,FMM) 中的空间分块树结构,并提出了一种新的空间分块方法。新方法适用于任意复杂形状的求解域,并将计算速度平均提高五倍左右。
  • 将杂交边界点法(Hybrid Boundary Node Method,HdBNM) 与对偶互易法(Dual Reciprocity Method,DRM) 结合以求解非均质问题。该方法使用径向基函数并通过控制方程特解的形式将域内积分转换到边界上,从而得到求解非均质问题的一个完全的无网格方法。该方法可以扩展到求解动力问题及非线性问题等。
  • 为了使快速多极算法更有效地求解非均匀节点问题,提出了一种新的自适应多极展开方案。采用该方案可以节省大量内存并提高计算速度。

3. 碳纳米复合材料热性质的数值仿真
(知的远藤项目,日本文部科学省. 2002-2005)
成果:

  • 将杂交边界点法(Hybrid Boundary Node Method,HdBNM) 与多域算法结合以求解复合材料的热传导问题。研究了碳纳米管的长度和形状对纳米复合材料热性质的影响。
  • 提出并验证了碳纳米复合材料热分析的一个简化数学模型。该模型在不降低计算精度的前提下极大地提高了碳纳米复合材料热分析的计算效率。分析了碳纳米管的分布对纳米复合材料热性质的影响。
  • 用快速多极算法(Fast Multipole Method,FMM) 加快杂交边界点法(Hybrid Boundary Node Method,HdBNM) 的计算速度。用C++语言在Windows平台上开发出一个大规模快速无网格分析软件。该软件可以在微机上求解一百万自由度规模的问题,从而应用于碳纳米复合材料热分析的大规模计算(一个代表体积内随机分布着上百甚至上千个任意复杂形状的碳纳米管)。

4. 无网格法及其应用
(博士论文, 2000-2002)
成果:
提出了一种新型无网格法:杂交边界点法(Hybrid Boundary Node Method,HdBNM)。并成功地用C++语言将其实现于二维位势问题、平面弹性静力问题、三维位势问题和三维弹性静力问题的求解。
杂交边界点法利用了移动最小二乘法(Moving Least-squares Approximation,MLS)的无网格特性和无网格局部边界积分方程中的局部化思想,是一种纯无网格法,即:该方法既不需要插值网格,也不需要积分网格,它的输入数据只是求解域边界上的离散分布的点。它可以直接利用CAD造型软件构造的几何模型,前处理过程十分简单。域内未知量的计算也不需要像在边界元法中做的那样,再一次沿边界积分。数值算例表明:该方法不仅计算精度高,而且收敛性好,还可以基于三维弹性理论求解薄型结构。
5. 螺旋焊管成形过程的仿真模拟及工艺参数优化
(1999)
成果:
用MSC/Marc软件对螺旋焊管成形过程进行了数值仿真模拟,得到最优化的制造工艺参数,降低了成品的残余应力,从而提高了石油运输管道的性能和使用寿命。
6. 用多域边界元法分析刚架结构的应力
(硕士论文开题报告, 1998-2000)
7. 玻璃钢抽油杆接头的结构改进 
(1997-1998)
成果:
开发并研制出一种新型玻璃钢抽油杆接头。新接头将玻璃钢抽油杆应力分布均匀化,从而提高使用寿命。试验表明:新接头可以将玻璃钢抽油杆的疲劳循环次数从240万次提高到690万次。

13. 修井机游车大钩的应力测试及有限元分析
(1995)
14. 修井机井架结构改进
(1993-1994)
成果:
原井架的设计图纸及制造技术都是从美国引进的。但由于国内井况的特殊性,国产化后的井架在油田作业过程中频繁发生断裂事故。通过对各种载荷工况进行有限元分析,发现井架的应力集中部位和实际作业中的断裂部位一致。最后提出一个结构改进方案,将井架的最大应力降低一半以上。新结构采用后基本上杜绝了油田作业中的断裂事故。
15. 抽油机支架结构改进
(1991-1992)
成果:
编写一套空间刚架结构有限元分析程序、前后处理程序以及抽油机动力分析计算程序。对抽油机机构进行了动力分析,对支架结构进行了刚度强度分析。用方案选择方法,经过反复改进计算,得到一个比原结构重量减轻1/3的新支架结构。新支架结构简单,制造方便,且一次试制成功。采用该结构后每年节省仅钢材费近三十万元。
